Little things I love about Boston

Ah, Boston, the city of my college years. I’ll always love and romanticize you! Think of this as a little love letter to the city and maybe you’ll find some recommendations of things to do along the way.

The Public Garden

Walking around the Public Garden at any time of the year is guaranteed to be one of the most beautiful walks you’ll find in the middle of a city.

Whether it’s the sunniest part of the summer, the leaves are starting to change colors in the fall, snow is covering the ground in the winter, or the flowers are starting to bloom in the Spring, give in to the beauty of the nature and take a meditative stroll.

The Boston Public Library

The Boston Public Library is a must-see in Boston. Its beautiful architecture and prime location in Copley Square make it a Boston staple. If you’re looking for somewhere to get some work done, I highly recommend checking out the study room.

Christmastime

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, especially in Boston. Don’t miss the Sowa Market and look out for adorable Brownstone doors in the South End!

Beacon Hill Books & Cafe

The most aesthetically pleasing and adorable bookshop is nestled into the heart of Charles Street in Beacon Hill. If you’re hungry, venture downstairs for lunch or a cup of tea! While you’re there, you might as well check out the rest of Charles Street, which is littered with adorable boutiques and historic homes.

The Esplanade

Another beautiful stop no matter the time of year. Though I may be partial to fall. I mean, look at that photo. We’re so happy! Admire the Charles River and even grab a beer if you want to with a walk along the Esplanade.

The Skyline

Whether you’re looking at the skyline from a rooftop bar in the Seaport (left photo) or from Eastie (East Boston, on the right), you’re bound to fall in love with the city all over again.
